Angelina Jolie soars above the “Maleficent” set on wires in the behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Disney film.
The clip, released Wednesday, shows the “Maleficent” crew’s first day of shooting an intense battle between Maleficent and King Henry’s army. Stuntmen dressed as medieval knights flip through the air and get pulled off their charging horses during filming.

Jolie herself gets into the mix, careening through the air on a rig with a fierce look emblazoned on her face. “We got to hold her back because she likes to do it all herself,” a stunt coordinator said in the featurette.
“Maleficent” focuses on the evil fairy and sworn adversary of the innocent Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning). The film also stars Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville.

The film, directed by Robert Stromberg, will be released on May 30.
