Ratings: ‘Man With a Plan,’ ‘The Resident’ Season Finales Both Slip From Last Week

NBC and Fox tie for first in key demo thanks to “The Voice,” “9-1-1”

CBS’ “Man With a Plan” and Fox’s “The Resident” both closed their seasons somewhat quietly last night, when NBC drew the most eyeballs thanks to “The Voice.”

NBC and Fox tied for first in ratings, both with a 1.0 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. NBC was first in total viewers with an average of 6.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. Fox was second in viewers with 5.4 million.

For NBC, “The Voice” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. averaged a 1.1/5 and 7.2 million viewers. “The Enemy Within” at 10 had a 0.6/3 and 3.8 million viewers.

For Fox, “The Resident” season finale at 8 got a 0.8/4 and 5 million viewers. At 9, “9-1-1” posted a 1.1/5 and 5.8 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 0.6/3 and in viewers with 5.1 million. Following a repeat, the “Man With a Plan” season finale at 8:30 had a 0.7/3 and 4.8 million viewers. “The Code” at 9 got a 0.5/2 and 4.1 million viewers. At 10, “Bull” received a 0.6/3 and 6.2 million viewers.

ABC and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.5/2. ABC was fourth in viewers with 2.6 million and Telemundo was fifth with 1.5 million.

For ABC, a special “Bachelorette” reunion from 8-10 averaged a 0.6/2 and 2.9 million viewers. At 10, “The Fix” managed a 0.4/2 and 2.2 million viewers.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and 1.3 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/2 and in viewers with 811,000. At 8, “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” had a 0.3 and 980,000 viewers. “Arrow” at 9 received a 0.2 and 643,000 viewers.
