Longtime E! senior editor Marc Malkin has been promoted to Managing Editor, Film, across platforms at the entertainment network.
The title bump came earlier this fall following the network’s reorganization and uniting of digital and news divisions in February, an E! spokesperson told TheWrap.
Malkin will oversee film coverage at the nightly broadcast “E! News” for which he’ll remain a correspondent, and in daily operations on the web at eonline.com.
Malkin joined E! in 2006 from CBS Television Distribution’s “The Insider.” He has previously served as Us Magazine’s news director and editor of New York Magazine’s Intelligencer column.
