Actor Mark O’Brien has joined the cast of the James Franco-Dennis Quaid thriller “Kin,” TheWrap has learned.
Jonathan and Josh Baker are directors on the project, about an ex-con and his brother who are forced on the run by a dangerous criminal.
O’Brien is a busy guy — currently starring in Denis Villeneuve’s “Arrival,” led by Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. He’s also a recurring character on AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire,” which will soon air its fourth and final season, and a series regular on Amazon’s Matt Bomer series “The Last Tycoon.”
O’Brien also has numerous theatrical projects in the hopper: “Anon” (a futuristic crime story starring Clive Owen and Amanda Seyfried), “State Like Sleep” (with Michael Shannon, Katherine Waterston and Luke Evans) and “Parallel” (costarring Martin Wallstrom, Georgia King and Alyssa Diaz).
O’Brien is managed by Thruline Entertainment, Don Buchwald & Associates and The Characters Agency.
