(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s Season 2 finale of “The Masked Singer.”)
Fox’s oddball, smash-hit celebrity singing game show “The Masked Singer” ended its second season Wednesday, revealing at the end of its two-hour finale the identity of not one, not two, but three of its famous contestants — including the winner.
After The Flamingo, The Fox and The Rottweiler — the trio of remaining competitors — performed, it was time for panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke to choose which member of the group would win the Golden Mask trophy, and that ended up being Fox.
“The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon was unveiled as the singer behind the Flamingo mask, while the Rottweiler’s true identity turned out to be singer Chris Daughtry. And last, but certainly not least — because he won — was Fox, who ended up being none other than comedian Wayne Brady. See our interview with Brady here.
See the Fox unmasking at the top of the page, and the other two contestants unmasked at the bottom.
“Collectively, all of the Season 2 undercover celebrities have amassed 69 Emmy Award nominations, 42 Grammy Award nominations, 22 Broadway shows, three New York Times best-sellers and two have been named Time magazine’s Most Influential People,” according to Fox.
And now that they’ve all been unmasked, here’s the full lineup of Season 2’s contestants: Wayne Brady (Fox), Chris Daughtry (Rottweiler), Adrienne Bailon (Flamingo), Victor Oladipo (Thingamajig), Seal (Leopard), Ana Gasteyer (Tree), Michelle Williams (Butterfly), Patti LaBelle (Flower), Kelly Osbourne (Ladybug), Raven-Symoné (Black Widow), Sherri Shepherd (Penguin), Paul Shaffer (Skeleton), Dr. Drew Pinsky (Eagle), Laila Ali (Panda), Tyler “Ninja” Blevins (Ice Cream) and Johnny Weir (Egg).
And if you’re already in “Masked Singer” withdrawal, don’t worry, because Season 3 will premiere on Fox immediately after the Super Bowl on Feb. 2.
