With its all-Gordon Ramsay lineup, Fox just cooked up the easiest Wednesday win it will ever have. That’s because the only other original show that “MasterChef” and “24 Hours to Hell and Back” had to compete with was, ironically, “The Originals” on The CW.

Though Fox easily finished No. 1 in ratings, CBS took the total-viewer crown last night. In the key 18-49 demographic, there was a crazy five-way tie for second place.

Fox was first in ratings with a 1.0 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 3.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “MasterChef” at 8 p.m. had a 0.9/5 and 3.6 million viewers. At 9, “24 Hours” got a 1.0/4 and 3.5 million viewers.

CBS, ABC, NBC, Univision and Telemundo all tied for second in ratings, each with a 0.5. CBS and Telemundo had 3 shares, the others all had 2s. CBS was first in total viewers with 4.5 million; ABC was third with 2.39 million; NBC was fourth with 2.38 million; Univision was fifth with 1.5 million; Telemundo was sixth with 1.3 million.

For CBS, following reruns, “Code Black” at 10 received a 0.7/3 and 5.6 million viewers.

For NBC, after its own repeat, “Reverie” at 10 managed a 0.4/2 and 1.8 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 694,000. After a repeat, “The Originals” at 9 had a 0.3/1 and 751,000 viewers.

ABC aired all reruns on Wednesday.
