Matthew Fox Detained for Assaulting Female Bus Driver

Former “Lost” star reportedly punched female victim “in the chest and stomach area”

Sounds like Matthew Fox had a bit of a "Lost" weekend.

The former "Party of Five" star was detained in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday after allegedly assaulting the driver of a party bus.

The incident, which was reported at about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, occurred after Fox allegedly tried to board the bus uninvited.

According to the police report, Fox boarded the bus in an attempt to get a ride back to his hotel. The driver, Heather Bormann, got up to block the 45-year-old actor, at which point he punched her "in the chest and stomach area," the report read.

According to the report, Bormann then struck Fox back, "causing a cut on his lip." At which point a witness stepped in and attempted to help Bormann.

Bormann told police that she might have broken her hand during the alleged fracas.

Fox was detained but not arrested. Eventually he was released to a friend, who ushered him back to his hotel via taxi.

Bormann told TMZ that she is considering pressing charges against Fox.

"This was my self-defense," Bormann claimed to the site. "This was the only way I could protect myself … from a man beating up on a woman."

Fox's representative did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.
