Matthew McConaughey debauches up a storm as a shirtless bongo-playing, poetry-writing rebel in the NSFW teaser trailer for the upcoming comedy “The Beach Bum.”
The film, from “Spring Breakers” director Harmony Korine, follows McConaughey as a Moondog, a rebellious rogue who always lives life by his own rules.
You know, the sort who asks a convenience store clerk if they sell acid and then says, “That’s too bad,” when he hears the answer is no.
Snoop Dog, Zac Efron, Isla Fisher, Stefania LaVie Owen, Martin Lawrence and Jimmy Buffett also star in the film — though the “Margaritaville” singer’s name was actually misspelled in the original clip.
Neon, which is set to release the movie in theaters on March 29, 2019, updated the teaser to correct Buffett’s name.
“We were high when cutting it,” a rep for the studio explained of the mistake.
