Megyn Kelly Says Donald Trump Is ‘Absolutely’ Welcome on Her Show (Video)

Fox News anchor opens up to CBS’ Charlie Rose about her much-publicized feud with GOP presidential frontrunner

Megyn Kelly says Donald Trump is “absolutely” welcome on her show anytime.

Speaking to Charlie Rose for a segment of “CBS Sunday Morning” that will air this Sunday, the Fox News anchor gave her account on that what truly happened between her and the GOP frontrunner.

“Why did he start? Does it all go back to a question in August of 2015?” Rose asked.

“Yes, it did. Clearly. Because Trump and I really didn’t have a relationship at all prior to that,” Kelly said, adding, “I think it’s very clear to him that he cannot control the editorial on my show, or from me, in a debate or other setting.”

Rose also asked Kelly whether or not she would welcome him back on her show after everything he has said about her, including terms like “crazy,” “sick” and “overrated,” among other things.

“Absolutely,” she answered.

The host of “The Kelly File” also talked about the very public feud has raised her profile, leading to a recent Vanity Fair cover shoot.

“I certainly think it’s gotten me more exposure,” she told Rose. “One of our babysitters is from Peru, and she came home one day and told us that she saw my name in the Peruvian papers. I don’t think that ever happened before this particular dust-up. So I’m going to have to give him that point.”

Even so, Kelly added, “It is never a newsperson’s goal to become a part of the story.”
