Comedian Nick Kroll will be the first guest dishing out monetary advice on “My Three Cents,” hosted by Jen Rogers
Yahoo Finance wants to take a look at the role money plays in the lives of celebrities and athletes with “My Three Cents,” a new web series launching on Wednesday night.
The 10-minute show, hosted by Yahoo Finance anchor Jen Rogers, welcomes comedian Nick Kroll as its first guest. Kroll will talk about how he spent his Bar Mitzvah money and his first job working at Bloomingdales, among other topics.
Kroll said he typically caries about $100 in cash in his wallet, but jokingly asked viewers “who want to mug me … please do not.”
The “Kroll Show” and “The League” alum also weighed in on Facebook and its user privacy woes from the last year, saying chief Mark Zuckerberg “needs to say ‘yes and’ a lot less to the investment community and take a serious look at what the moral implications of his business are. Perhaps Facebook doesn’t have to be the biggest company in the world, at the expense of its users.”
Upcoming episodes of “My Three Cents” will include actresses Ellie Kemper (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) and Chrissy Metz from “This Is Us,” as well as TV new personality Natalie Morales, comic Bryan Callen, and writer Jill Kargman.
