Meryl Streep channeled her inner — and outer — Donald Trump as part of the annual Shakespeare in the Park Public Theater Gala in New York Monday.
According to USA Today, Streep, wearing a padded suit, a red tie, an orange wig and a lot of self tanner, performed a duet of “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” from the musical “Kiss Me, Kate” with Christine Baranski, dressed as Hillary Clinton.
The song “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” advises men on how to woo women using lines from Shakespeare.
The performance took place on the same night that Clinton clinched the presidential nomination for the Democratic party.
