Michael Fassbender Signs On to Narrate Formula 1 Documentary ‘1’

Long-time Formula 1 fan Michael Fassbender will narrate Exclusive Media’s documentary “1.”

Long time Formula 1 fan Michael Fassbender has signed on to narrate Exclusive Media’s Spitfire Pictures’ division’s documentary “1.”

The deal was announced Wednesday by Exclusive Media co-chairman Nigel Sinclair and the film’s producer, Michael Shevloff, together with the film’s director Paul Crowder.   

“We are honored that Michael has agreed to lend his voice to our film. He is one of the most talented actors in the world today as well as being a Formula 1 fan.  We couldn’t be more excited,” said Sinclair and Shevloff in a joint statement.

“Michael Fassbender is a brilliant and fearless actor who will bring all the passion and excitement of our action documentary to life. There is truly no better voice to tell this story,” said Crowder.

1” was written by Mark Monroe, Crowder's longtime creative partner.

Crowder’s previous credits include "Amazing Journey: “The Story Of The Who,” “The Last Play at Shea,” and ESPN Films’ “Once in a Lifetime.”  As an award winning editor, Crowder’s credits include the Sundance Film Festival documentary hits “Riding Giants,” which Crowder received the A.C.E. award for best edited documentary, and “Dogtown & Z Boys,” winner of the Independent Spirit Award for best documentary.
