Michelle Obama to Make a ‘Leno’ Cameo (updated)

First Lady’s visit raises the question: When is someone from the White House going to visit Conan O’Brien’s show?

Does Rahm Emanuel have something against Conan O’Brien?

Probably not, but the White House’s love for comedy shows not named "The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien" is starting to become noticable. Today’s news: First Lady Michelle Obama has been booked for Jay Leno’s "Ten @ Ten" segment this Friday.

Already this year, President Obama has made appearances on Leno’s "Tonight Show" and "Late Show with David Letterman." Now, Mrs. Obama is doing Leno’s primetime show.

O’Brien, however, has yet to land any Obamas on his show. There’s no evidence, of course, of any tension between the White House and Team Conan. But you’d think by now, the administration would try to show some love to O’Brien and his five-month-old show.

Perhaps Bo Obama could make his talk show debut on "Tonight"?

UPDATE 7:17 PM CDT: As a commenter notes (and we should’ve recalled), O’Brien is repped by Rick Rosen and the folks at WME. All the more reason the White House should start showing the love to CO’B!
