Michelle Wolf isn’t fazed by the backlash she’s faced in D.C. after her White House Correspondents’ Dinner standup act Saturday, and says in a new interview that she “wouldn’t change a single word of it.”

In Wolf’s interview with NPR that will air on Tuesday, the comedian said that her routine was consistent with the style she’s taken on standup tours for years, and that she wasn’t going to change it for the Washington politicians and press corps.

“I didn’t want to cater to the room. I wanted to cater to the outside audience,” Wolf said. “I wouldn’t change a single word that I said. I’m very happy with what I said, and I’m glad I stuck to my guns.”

More to come…
