Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Arrested for Fighting in a Tanning Salon

The reality star is accused of throwing down with his sibling and reality show co-star

Former “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was arrested on Tuesday, after allegedly getting into an altercation with his brother Frank at — where else? — a tanning salon.

The reality star was placed under arrest after police responded to a 911 call regarding a fist fight at Boca Tanning Salon in Middletown, N.J., TMZ said on Tuesday.

The brothers star in the TV Guide Network reality show “The Sorrentinos,” which debuts July 15th. More jaded minds would probably suggest that maybe, just maybe, this might be a publicity stunt.

A representative for Sorrentino has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Since rising to what counts as prominence these days on the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore,” Sorrentino has achieved fame but also encountered some bumpy road, including legal battles with his former  manager and clothing company Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as a struggle with prescription pill abuse.
