The pick-up might be quick, but it's not terribly surprising, considering the impressive numbers it racked up on Thursday's debut. The special, which aired at 10 p.m. following "American Idol," drew in a powerful 3.8 rating/10 share among the all-important adults 18-49 demographic, and pulled in 10.8 million total viewers.

The special's premiere Thursday night featured Mandel leading a "flash mob" through a surprise wedding, complete with twists and turns to prank the bride-to-be.
