The man accused of stabbing Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter to death is enemy number one in Bellevue Hospital’s psychiatric ward.
The New York Post reported that Lamar Davenport, 31, has drawn the taunts of other inmates who know he landed in the ward after stabbing E’Dena Hines to death.
“Yo, that’s the dude that killed Morgan Freeman’s [granddaughter]. ‘Shawshank Redemption’ was my jam,” an inmate yelled at alleged stabber Lamar Davenport, 31, according to the Post.
The inmates are “pissed” at the inmate, as they all know Freeman from the legendary prison film “Shawshank Redemption” and other landmark performances. Davenport allegedly stabbed Freeman’s step-granddaughter 16 times while performing an “exorcism.”
He’ll appear in court on Friday in Manhattan Criminal Court, where he will find out whether he will be indicted for murder.
