‘Morning Joe’ Blasts ‘President Bannon’ for Trump’s Paris Accord Exit 7 Times in 30 Seconds (Video)

Do you think MSNBC host Joe Scarborough might be trolling POTUS a bit?

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough blasted “President Bannon” on Friday for the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Accord on climate change — using the trolling phrase seven times in half a minute.

“Time magazine was right: Steve Bannon is the president of the United States,” the MSNBC host said Friday, before launching into a 30-second monologue referencing “President Bannon” repeatedly.

He also questioned the political wisdom of fulfilling the Trump campaign promise to join Nicaragua and Syria as the sole nations outside the agreement on climate change.

“Look at the polls specifically for this issue,” he began. “President Bannon is on the wrong side of the majority. President Bannon may be right when President Bannon is looking at President Bannon’s primary base but whe President Bannon is looking at the overall scope of American voters … President Bannon’s not even reading the polls right for today.”

Moments later, he slipped in one more reference to Bannon, who holds the official and unelected title of chief strategist in the Trump White House.

Scarborough, a Republican, has stepped up his criticism of Trump in recent months. On Thursday, co-host Mika Brzezinski compared POTUS to “a kid pooping their pants and then saying, ‘I meant to do that.’”

The comparison came after the pair played a clip of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer telling reporters during an off-camera gaggle on Wednesday that Trump’s “covfefe” tweet wasn’t a typo and Americans shouldn’t be concerned. “The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant,” Spicer said.
