‘Morning Joe’ Calls Sean Hannity Show ‘State-Run Television’ (Video)

Fox News host responds, “He had to become an MSNBC liberal to keep his job”

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough ripped his rival, Fox News’ Sean Hannity, on Monday morning, calling his show “state run television.”

The MSNBC morning show personality accused President Donald Trump of “lying” about the now-infamous meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and Russians who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton. Scarborough then questioned Trump Jr.’s decision to go on “Hannity” to defend himself.

“Going on a T.V. show that basically a state-run television and being asked at the end of that T.V. show, ‘Is there anything else that we don’t know about?’ And Don Jr. saying, ‘That’s it.’ And then the next day we find out another person attended the meeting,” Scarborough said.

Scarborough continued: “These people keep getting caught in their lies.”

Hannity took to Twitter early Monday to respond.

Last week, Hannity poked fun at Scarborough’s hair after the MSNBC star announced he was leaving the GOP to become an Independent.

“Did anyone else notice the hair? Wow. I guess Mika’s telling him it looks really cool,” Hannity said when critiquing Scarborough’s appearance on “The Late Show.”

Hannity also delivered a monologue last week about his MSNBC rival, saying he “wants to be loved” and accused Scarborough of pandering to “elitist” liberals.

“Oh Joe, Liberal Joe, say it ain’t so,” Hannity said of Scarborough leaving the GOP. “What is the Republican party ever going to do without Joe?”

Scarborough and Hannity have a long history of taking shots at each other and it appears the MSNBC host’s decision to leave the Republican Party has only added fuel to the fire.
