Ahead of its upfront presentation for the 2016-17 season, USA has unveiled the first trailers for Season 2 of “Mr. Robot,” as well as new series “Shooter” and “Falling Water.”
Season 2 of “Mr. Robot” sees Elliot and fsociety’s continued attempts to use their hacking skills to bring down the wealthy and corrupt corporations ruling America from the shadows, and this time, even President Obama gets wind of the dire situations at hand.
The award-winning drama hails from writer and executive producer Sam Esmail as well as Anonymous Content executive producers Steve Golin and Chad Hamilton, and is produced by Universal Cable Productions.
“Shooter” is based on the Stephen Hunter novel and Mark Wahlberg film of the same name, and stars Ryan Phillippe as Bob Lee Swagger, a highly-decorated ex-Marine sniper who is coaxed back into action after he learns about a plot to kill the President.
Wahlberg executive produces, along with Stephen Levinson and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. John Hlavin wrote the pilot and will also executive produce. Simon Cellan Jones directed the pilot. “Shooter” is a co-production of Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions.

Season 2 of “Mr. Robot” premieres Wednesday, July 19 at 10 p.m. ET on USA. “Shooter” debut in the summer, and “Falling Water” will premiere in the fall.
