‘Murder on the Orient Express’ Trailer Packed With Stars and Twists (Video)

Kenneth Branagh’s Agatha Christie adaptation opens November 10

A scarred and heavily accented Johnny Depp advises that we trust no one in the new trailer for “Murder on the Orient Express,” a new adaptation of the Agatha Christie classic due in theaters November 10.

Kenneth Branagh directs and stars in the big-screen mystery from Fox, and they’re joined by an A-list cast that also includes Tom Bateman, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom, Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Marwan Kenzari, Olivia Colman, Lucy Boynton, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Sergei Polunin.

The new clip suggests lots of intrigue but not many clues about how many departures screenwriter Michael Green might have made from the original novel.

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries. From the novel by best selling-author Agatha Christie, “Murder on the Orient Express” tells the tale of 13 strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect in a murder. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

Ridley Scott, Mark Gordon, Simon Kinberg, Kenneth Branagh, Michael Shaefer and Judy Hofflund are producing.

The 20th Century Fox will chug its way into theaters November 10.
