Much like the first season, the upcoming run of “Naked and Afraid” will follow pairs of survivalists as they find themselves stranded in one of the world’s most extreme environments with just one personal item — no food, no water and, yes, no clothes.

The new series, “Discovery After Dark,” will be hosted by Joe Bereta, who will talk to that week’s “Naked and Afraid” castaways to get a more in-depth look at their ideal. The new talk show, which will also feature Bob Oschack and social correspondent Taryn Southern, will include celebrity guests and behind-the-scenes footage from “Naked and Afraid.”
