Naomi Watts Navigates Love, Landmines and Paparazzi in ‘Diana’ Trailer (Video)

The new film chronicles the final stages of the late Princess's life

Naomi Watts plays a different side of the people's princess in the trailer for "Diana" — the version that the world so rarely got a glimpse of.

The movie follows the most famous woman in the world falling in love with heart surgeon, Dr. Hasnat Kahn (Naveen Andrews) at the end of a life cut far too short.

The film, which spans the final two years of Princess Di's life, also chronicles her personal campaign against land mines.

"Diana" comes out Sep. 20.
