With “Nashville” taking its final bow this week, here’s a look back at some of the best moments from each season.

Season 1: Deacon Kisses Rayna in the Elevator

It was clear from the beginning that Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) were meant for each other, though it was a long road to get there. It was a gratifying moment for fans when they finally kissed in the elevator.

Season 2: Juliette Sings “Don’t Put Dirt on My Grave”

Look, we never said Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panetierre) was perfect, but she gives a pretty perfect “f— you.” In the scene where she’s asked to publicly apologize for past behavior, she goes out with a bang and sings that she’s not done yet.

Season 3: Rayna tells Luke Wheeler She Can’t Marry Him

Although Rayna and Luke were a couple made in country music heaven, Rayna knew she couldn’t be with the star. Fans have been shipping Deacon and Rayna since the beginning, so it was exciting to see Rayna open again with the chance to end up with her first love.

Season 4: Deacon & Rayna Say I Do

I mean, finally, right?! When Deacon finally asked Rayna to marry him, after all they’ve been through, we found ourselves believing in true love.

Season 5: Tribute to Rayna Sung by Maddie (Joined by Deacon and Daphne)

In one of the most emotional scenes of the series, Maddie (Lennon Stella) pay tribute to her mom in an emotional performance, but breaks down before she can finish. Even though it was a tearjerker, it was a fitting goodbye to the leading lady.

The “Nashville” series finale airs on CMT Thursday, July 26 at 9 p.m.
