Natalie Dormer is moving from Britain in the 1500s to Boston in the 1800s.
The English actress, best known for her role on HBO's "The Tudors," has been cast in ABC's "Poe," a crime procedural set in Boston in the 1840s, TheWrap has confirmed.
Christopher Egan plays the lead role, Edgar Allen Poe.
Kevin McNally, Tabrett Bethell and Leslie Odom Jr. also star.
Dan Lin, of Lin Pictures, is executive producer with Chris Hollier, who is writing the pilot. Brad Kern also is executive producing. Alex Graves is to direct.
