Natalie Morales, Thomas Roberts to Host 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant

Grab your swimsuits and evening gowns: Natalie Morales of the “Today” show and MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts are set to host “The 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant,” which airs Sunday, Jan. 25 on NBC.

Morales previously co-hosted the “Miss Universe Pageant” in 2010 and 2011. Roberts, who hosts MSNBC’s “Way Too Early” and is a contributor to “Morning Joe,” co-hosted the pageant last year. He also hosted the 2014 “Miss USA Pageant” in June.

The pageant will air live from the FIU Arena in Florida. IMG will executive produce the three-hour event, which will simulcast in Spanish on Telemundo. Steve Mayer is executive producer.

“The 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant” will feature nearly 90 contestants from across the globe. The participants will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview. Gabriela Isler, Miss Universe 2013 will crown her successor at the conclusion of the three-hour telecast.

The “Miss Universe Pageant” is distributed to approximately 190 countries and territories.
