‘Nathan For You’ Will Not Return to Comedy Central

Last episode of the series aired in December 2017

“Nathan For You” will not return to Comedy Central for a fifth season, the network told TheWrap on Wednesday.

Star Nathan Fielder ultimately made the call, Comedy Central said in a statement, adding that the network respects his decision.

“For the past five years Comedy Central had the pleasure of working with the brilliant Nathan Fielder on ‘Nathan For You,'” the network’s statement to TheWrap said. “His innovative and quick-witted humor has made the show a comedic touchstone and we’re proud to have been a part of it. We respect Nathan’s decision to end the series and look forward to geeking out over his next project.”

A reason behind Fielder’s decision was not given.

“Nathan For You” last aired in December 2017 with the two-hour Season 4 finale, titled “Finding Frances,” in which Fielder helped a Bill Gates impersonator find his long-lost love.

The series followed Fielder as a self-proclaimed business expert who helps small businesses with out-of-the-ordinary marketing tactics. Fielder starred, wrote, directed and executive produced the series. Dave Kneebone also executive produced.
