‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation’ Cast Reunites for Old Navy Commercial

Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo and Juliette Lewis team up to hawk Old Navy pop pants

Nobody should ever accuse the Griswolds of selling out.

The cast of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" (you know, the holiday chestnut where the cat gets electrocuted) have reunited to put their domestic weight behind Old Navy pop pants — just $19 bucks for colorful cords and jeans!

It's a group that includes Chevy Chase, recent disgruntled refugee from NBC's "Community"; Beverly D'Angelo, and Academy Award nominee Juliette Lewis.

Missing in action is Randy Quaid, who memorably played white trash relative Cousin Eddie but has spent the better part of the last decade on the run from the "star whackers."

And "Johnny Galecki, who played Griswold son Rusty, was apparently too busy with "The Big Bang Theory" to participate in the commercial.

It's a festive affair as Chase, a.k.a. congenitally befuddled Clark Griswold, gathers the family together for one of his over-the-top Christmas light displays. It also allows D'Angelo to call her on-screen husband her signature term of endearment, "Sparky."

This isn't the first time the "Vacation" gang has reunited for ads — in 2009, Chase and D'Angelo teamed up for a Super Bowl spot for HomeAway.com.

What do you think? Are you more likely to buy the colorful pants?
