NBC News, TV One Partner for 2012 Election

TV One will air three nights of election coverage

NBC News is partnering with TV One, the network aimed at adult African-American viewers, to provide them coverage of the 2012 election.

Their coverage will include the final night of the Republication National Convention and the Democratic National Convention, as well as election night. All three nights will air on TV One and be branded under the "TV One: One Vote Matters" banner. The joint announcement came Wednesday from TV One CEO Wonya Lucas and NBC News President Steve Capus.

NBC News’ Craig Melvin will anchor all three evenings of coverage from NBC’s Washington studios, and TV One’s "Washington Watch" host, Roland Martin, will contribute segments and analysis.
