You have to feel just a little bit bad for NBC with regard to its coverage of the 2012 Olympics in London. First, they catch heat from fans for tape-delaying the opening ceremony. But tape-delay technology might have come in handy for the network during its coverage of women's water polo on Wednesday.

NBC's coverage took a turn for the randy when U.S. water polo athlete Kamie Craig tugged on a Spanish competitor's swimsuit, briefly exposing her breast to the underwater camera. Which, in the age of YouTube, has now been frozen in time and disseminated for all the world to see.

Please, no "breast stroke" jokes. It is worth noting, however, that the London games are the XXX Olympics.

NBC has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.

(In fairness to the network, the water-polo match was provided to NBC from a host feed, which it has no control over.)

This sort of thing just might help to boost the Olympics' ratings — not that they need it. The 2012 Olympics have yielded record-setting numbers for NBC, and so far the London games have outpaced the 2008 Beijing games by 7 percent in the 18-49 demographic most desired by advertisers.
