NBC’s Peter Alexander tweeted on Wednesday that he’s going to get insults directed at him by Donald Trump “crocheted on a pillow.”

The Republican presidential frontrunner’s latest rally-turned-press conference included everything from Trump-branded steaks and wine to sarcasm directed at the NBC News correspondent. Alexander asked about the language Trump uses, and how to talk to children about it during last night’s Super Tuesday 2 event.

Trump responded: “Oh, you’re so politically correct. You’re so beautiful. Oh, look at you. Awwww. Aw, he’s so — oh, I know. You’ve never heard a little bad, a little off language. I know, you’re so perfect. Aren’t you perfect. Aren’t you just a perfect young man. Give me a break. You know what? It’s stuff like that that people in this country are tired of. It’s stuff like that.”

Alexander took Trump’s diatribe in stride, tweeting the following:

This isn’t the first squabble between Alexander and Trump. The New York Times reported that the GOP frontrunner “repeatedly cut off Mr. Alexander” at a press conference earlier this year after he “tried to read Mr. Trump’s quotations from a 1999 interview with Tim Russert in which he described himself as ‘pro-choice.’”
