NBC Universal Wants a Freelance Production Assistant — 65 Hours/Week, No Benefits

"The Steve Wilkos Show" is looking for an experienced, temporary production assistant willing to work six days a week with no benefits — don't all apply at once!

Don't all jump at once, but NBC Universal wants a freelancer willing to work at least 65 hours a week with no benefits.

The media giant posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a temporary booking production assistant for "The Steve Wilkos Show."

By Wednesday afternoon NBC took down the ad after receiving a call from a reporter at TheWrap, an NBC spokeswoman said.

But the job is still open.

The gig requires the candidate to stay on the job for up to one year, live in the Stamford, Conn. area and start immediately.

Assistants are responsible for booking stories and coordinating guests for the syndicated talk show, the post said.

But really, don't sweat the six-day-per-week commitment, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, maybe.

"NOTE: This job will turn into a staff position for the right person," the ad said.

NBC Universal declined to comment about the specifics of the job.
