Ratings: CBS Rides ‘NCIS’ to Another Easy Tuesday Win

Nothing new here, folks: CBS once-again rode “NCIS” to a comfortable primetime win on Tuesday. NBC was runner-up with two “Chicago” shows.

Powered by “The Flash,” CW edged Fox again for third place.

CBS was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 12.2 million, according to preliminary numbers. “NCIS” at 8 p.m. scored a 2.3/8 and 17.2 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 9 had a 2.0/6 and 13.3 million viewers. At 10, “Limitless” posted a 1.2/4 and 6 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 1.3/4 and in viewers with 6 million. “Hollywood Game Night” at 8 got a 1.0/3 and 3.9 million viewers. “Chicago Med” at 9 received a 1.4/4 and 6.6 million viewers. At 10, “Chicago Fire” earned a 1.6/5 and 7.5 million viewers.

The CW was third in ratings with a 1.0/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.6 million. At 8, “The Flash” landed a 1.5/5 and 3.9 million viewers. At 9, “iZombie” managed a 0.6/2 and 1.3 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fifth in viewers with 5.4 million. At 8, “New Girl” had a 1.2/4 and 2.8 million viewers. At 8:30, “Grandfathered” got a 0.8/2 and 2.3 million viewers. At 9, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” posted a 0.9/3 and 2.1 million viewers. “The Grinder” at 9:30 received a 0.6/2 and 1.7 million viewers.

ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3, but third in viewers with 2.7 million. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 8 had a 1.3/4 and 4.6 million viewers. “The Muppets” at 8:30 got a 0.8/3 and 2.4 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agent Carter” at 9 received a 0.7/2 and 2.4 million viewers.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in viewers with 1.9 million.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.3 million.
