Neil Patrick Harris Falls to His Death in ‘Puppet Dreams’ (Video)

The "How I Met Your Mother" star's new web series features puppets singing a deadly lullaby

Four years after becoming an internet sensation as the titular villain in Joss Whedon's "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog," Neil Patrick Harris is back online to do it all over again.

This time, however, the singer, dancer, actor and magician is trying his hand at puppeteering in a YouTube series called "Neil's Puppet Dreams."

Starring alongside his real-life fiancé, David Burtka, the first episode features Harris putting his children to sleep before explaining the premise of the show.

"Oh hi! I'm Neal and I sleep a lot and when I dream, I dream in puppet," he blurts out before dropping to the floor in a deep sleep, triggering his first puppet dream. But beware, these puppets won't be teaching children their ABCs.

Instead, the "How I Met Your Mother" star finds himself falling rapidly from the sky while three fuzzy friends sing a song about his eminent death.

It's adorably twisted, but just a dream, so NPH will wake up to live another day. Luckily for us, that means he can fall back asleep to have more close encounters of the puppet kind.

Watch the first of what will hopefully be many "Puppet Dreams" below.
