When she announced she was leaving “Real Housewives of Atlanta” earlier this week, NeNe Leakes teased that she had another TV project in the works.

It didn’t take long for the reality star to make her return to the small screen as she will begin shooting new ABC variety series “To Tell the Truth” with Betty White and show host Anthony Anderson on Thursday.

“When one door closes, another door opens!!!!” Leakes wrote on her blog Wednesday. “Your girl is returning to primetime network TV on the new ABC variety series ‘To Tell the Truth’ with Betty White and Anthony Anderson. I start filming tomorrow. Bloop!”

Leakes announced Monday that she was leaving “RHOA” after eight years, saying: “My contract is up and I just think this is the right time … This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things.”

Hosted by “Black-ish” actor Anderson, “To Tell The Truth” is a re-imagination of the game show of the same name that was created by Bob Stewart and first aired in 1956. The all new version will take the excitement to another level featuring fun characters from pop culture over the six-episode series, according to a statement from ABC.

Anderson will preside over four famous faces including White (who has appeared on previous versions of the show) and Leakes.

“To Tell The Truth” is produced by FremantleMedia North America and will be taped in front of a live audience in Los Angeles. Barry Poznick, Toby Gorman, Thom Beers, Jeff Gaspin, George Moll and Anderson are executive producers.
