Netflix has renewed “Ozark” for a second season, the streaming platform announced on Tuesday.
The crime drama, led by “Arrested Development” star Jason Bateman and “The Big C’s” Laura Linney, will return for an additional 10 episodes.
The drama follows a Chicago financial advisor (Bateman), who has been quietly laundering money for a drug kingpin and must quickly uproot his family and move the operation to The Ozarks, after his partner is caught cheating the business.
Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Jordana Spiro, Jason Butler Harner, Esai Morales, Peter Mullan and Lisa Emery also star.
Bateman also serves as executive producer alongside Chris Mundy, Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams. Patrick Markey serves as producer. “Ozark” is produced by Media Rights Capital and Aggregate Films.
