The apes in director Matt Reeves“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” are not only stronger and faster than humans, they don’t need electricity or heat to survive.

A new TV spot (above) for the upcoming 20th Century Fox release features the voice of an unknown human character outlining the major advantage their primate adversaries have over mankind.

The latest look at the July 11 release debuted during the Season 4 finale of “The Walking Dead” on Sunday.

“Dawn” stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and Gary Oldman as human survivors ten years after James Franco‘s pet monkey, Ceasar (Andy Serkis), wreaked havoc on planet Earth as a virus began wiping out most of humanity. When a fragile peace gets broken, both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine which species takes over the top of the food chain.
