New ‘The More You Know’ Campaign Focuses on Health

NBC Universal stars line up to participate in public service announcements promoting prevention, screenings

NBC Universal talent including Jimmy Fallon, Brian Williams, Zachary Levi, Masi Oka, Mark Feuerstein and Ming-Na will take part in the new season of the company’s Emmy-winning "The More You Know" public service campaign.

The new season from the network that’s home to "The Biggest Loser" focuses on health, in an effort to help Americans adapt and maintain healthier lifestyles.

The multiplatform program, which will be co-branded with GE’s "Healthymagination" initiative, will focus on such critical health issues as diabetes, heart disease, stroke prevention, physical activity, nutrition and recommended health screenings.

The campaign also is part of "Healthy at NBCU," a companywide initiative connecting employees, consumers and marketers with NBCU’s health and wellness content.

The PSAs, the centerpiece of "The More You Know," also will feature Alison Sweeney ("The Biggest Loser"); NBC News’ Dr. Nancy Snyderman; Christopher Meloni and Tamara Tunie of "Law & Order: SVU"; Amy Poehler ("Parks and Recreation"); Joshua Gomez ("Chuck"); Ali Larter, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Greg Grunberg of "Heroes"; "Law & Order’s" Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson; Bethenny Frankel (Bravo’s "Real Housewives of New York City"); Carl Quintanilla (CNBC’s "Squawk Box"); and Ana Maria Polo (Telemundo’s "Caso Cerrado").
