As “Solo: A Star Wars Story” draws closer to its Memorial Day weekend release, Disney and Lucasfilm are teasing “Star Wars” fans with two clips from the film that hark back to the original trilogy.

In the first clip, fans get to see more of the much-hyped first meeting between Han Solo and Lando Calrissian, which was shown in full at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

In an attempt to acquire a ship and perhaps some assistance for his mission, Han (Alden Ehrenreich) sits down at a Sabacc table where Lando (Donald Glover) is holding court … and most of the chips.

Impressed but not fazed by his swagger, Han takes on Lando at the Sabacc table, and as fans of “Empire Strikes Back” know, it ends with Han winning the Millennium Falcon from the future administrator of Cloud City.

The other clip calls back to “A New Hope” and the famous “Let The Wookiee” win scene, as Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) is introduced to holochess by Han’s mentor Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson).

Chewie tries to throw the pieces across the room, but of course, you can’t throw holograms. Interestingly, Tobias uses the exact same move on Chewie that R2-D2 uses against him many years later.

“Solo” will have its world premiere in Hollywood on Thursday, followed by a gala screening at the Cannes Film Festival next week.

The film hits theaters May 25.
