New ‘Twin Peaks’ Cast Makes First Appearance in Latest Teaser (Video)

Fans also get a glimpse of Miguel Ferrer, who passed away in January

Looks like “Twin Peaks” and Showtime are getting a little more daring, showing off more actual footage of the show’s revival after months of speculation and secrecy.

Just like the last one, new teaser released Thursday gives us a glimpse of some returning faces, but also reveals the first images of some of the new cast.

Most figured that there would be some fresh and old faces in the new season, but it was a surprise when creator David Lynch revealed a 217-member cast list last year. The new roster included some big names like Laura Dern, Ashley Judd, Trent Reznor, Eddie Vedder, Naomi Watts, Michael Cera and Amanda Seyfried.

Madeline Zima (“Californication”) has a standout appearance in the teaser and one of the only lines of dialogue.

There’s no lack of alumni either, with Kimmy Robertson (who played Lucy Moran), David Lynch himself (Gordon Cole) and Mädchen Amick (Shelly Johnson) appearing briefly.

Fans also get a glimpse at Miguel Ferrer as forensics specialist Albert Rosenfield. It was one of Ferrer’s final roles before passing away at the age of 61 from cancer.

The teaser is also peppered with random shots of famous locales, such as The Bang Bang Bar. Although, no Annie yet. Where’s Annie?

The 18-part limited series returns to TV on Sunday, May 21 on Showtime.
