‘Wonder Woman’ Shows Off Another Costume Change

Adrianne Palicki shows off a new look while filming the NBC supeheroine pilot

It appears that Wonder Woman has had a change of heart — or at least a slight change of costume.

Images of Adrianne Palicki filming  the upcoming NBC pilot “Wonder Woman” in Los Angeles Tuesday surfaced on The Daily Blam on  Wednesday.

And, while the sneak peek will no doubt bring delight to eager comic-book fans across the Web, there have also been confused murmurings over the fact that Paliciki’s Wonder Woman outfit has been altered from the first official picture of her in character, which was released in mid-March.

In particular, the pants now appear to be constructed of cloth rather than the skin-tight, shiny, latex-material of the earlier incarnation. The boots have also changed color, from blue to red.

It’s uncertain why the costume was altered, or whether it will be altered further; TheWrap has reached out to Warner Bros. Television, which is producing the pilot, for comment, and is awaiting word.

In addition to former “Friday Night Lights” actress Palicki, the pilot — which is produced and written by David E. Kelley — will star former “Knight Rider” actor Justin Bruening as her love interest, Steve Trevor.
