Syfy has pulled tonight's episode of its supernatural drama "Haven" in the wake of the horrifying school shootings in Newtown, Conn., that left at least 28 people dead Friday, because it depicts school violence.
"Tonight’s scheduled 10 p.m. episode of 'Haven' contained scenes of fictitious violence in a high school," a Syfy spokesman told TheWrap in a statement. "In light of today’s tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, we have decided not to air it."

A repeat of the network's show "Eureka" will run in its place.
No decision has been made as to when tonight's scheduled episode will air, the spokesman added. The show is scheduled to air its Season Three finale next Friday.

In the episode, titled "Reunion," Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Duke (Eric Balfour) return to their high school in order to help Audrey (Emily Rose) track down a killer who's creating havoc at a student reunion.
Based on the Stephen King novel "The Colorado Kid," "Haven" stars Rose and Bryant as a pair of FBI agents grappling with supernatural occurrences in a small Maine town.
