Nickelodeon has ordered a viral video game show from Ryan Seacrest productions titled “Webheads.” It will air Monday-Friday starting in June and will anchor the kids’ network’s weekday live-action block.

“Big Time Rush” star Carlos PenaVega will host the series that combines Nick’s trademark slime, physical challenges and viral videos. It will ask contestants certain questions about viral videos from predicting their outcome to how popular they are with the studio audience.

“We’re excited to work with Nickelodeon on our first game show, which we believe will appeal to everyone in the family,” said Seacrest in a statement. “Carlos is a terrific host, and we believe our format combines the popular obsession of viral videos with fun physical gameplay in a fresh and engaging way.”

Nick’s content development and production president, Russell Hicks, added, “We are always thinking of new ways to creatively deliver content to kids, and ‘WebHeads’ speaks to their love for games and short form content, while adding a fresh comedic twist of challenges. We are also thrilled to work with Ryan Seacrest Productions and have Carlos PenaVega, a long-standing member of the Nickelodeon family, host the show. His energy, charisma and raw natural talent make him the perfect fit for this project.”

Additional show content can be found online at Nick.com and via mobile starting June 2 with the launch of “Webheads to Go!”

Seacrest and Adam Sher will serve as executive producers on the show.
