Obama to Talk Jobs Initiatives During ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance

Aug. 6 visit will mark Obama's sixth "Tonight Show" appearance

President Barack Obama has booked another appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," this time to talk about his second term and, in particular, his jobs initiatives and the economy. (Perhaps he can help Leno sort through his employment options when he retires from "The Tonight Show" next year.)

The latest "Tonight Show" stop, scheduled for Aug. 6, will mark Obama's sixth appearance on the show overall and his fourth since becoming president.

On his most recent appearance, on Oct. 24, 2012, topics included "Apprentice" honcho and all-around blowhard Donald Trump, who helped perpetuate lingering rumors that Obama wasn't born in America in the run-up to the 2012 election.

"This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya," Obama cracked. "When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over."
