‘Once Upon a Time’ Expands ‘Frozen’ Cast With Tyler Jacob Moore and John Rhys-Davies

The show’s fourth season is expanding its “Frozen” presence even more by introducing Moore as Prince Hans and Rhys-Davies as Paddie the troll

Prince Hans and Paddie the troll are the latest “Frozen” characters heading for Storybrooke. “Once Upon a Time” c0-creator and producer Adam Horowitz tweeted about actors Tyler Jacob Moore and John Rhys-Davies joining the Season 4 cast.

Moore’s villainous Prince Hans and the Rhys-Davies-voiced troll Paddie join the previously cast Georgina Haig as Elsa, Elizabeth Lail as Anna and Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff, bringing a total of five “Frozen” characters to life on the ABC fairy tale drama.

“Once Upon a Time” concluded its third season with a tease that Queen Elsa would be heading for Storybrooke, but the cast of characters from the Disney Animation film has grown considerably in the subsequent months. Considering “Frozen” currently ranks as the highest-grossing animated film of all time, it’s no great surprise that ABC is bolstering their “Disney Princesses” showcase with characters from it.

Moore most recently recurred as Tony Markovich on Showtime’s “Shameless,” opposite Emmy Rossum. Rhys-Davies is known for a wide array of projects including the “Indiana Jones” and “Lord of the Rings” franchises.

ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” Season 4 premieres on Sunday, September 28.
