Oprah Pushes Buble’s ‘Love’ to Top of Album Chart

Canadian crooner hits No. 1 after just three days of sales.

Once again demonstrating the benefit of an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s talker, Canadian crooner Michael Buble’s new "Crazy Love" debuts at No. 1 on the U.S. album chart after just three days of sales.

Buble’s Warner Bros. set bows at the top in a flat week with 132,000 sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures for the week ending Oct. 11. Album’s release date was moved up to last Friday, to coincide with Buble’s appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
