Oprah, Whitney. Whitney, Oprah.

Whitney Houston’s comeback express has just booked a major stop: "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Winfrey today said Houston will be the guest on the Sept. 14th edition of her talk show. That also happens to be the 24th season premiere of "Oprah."

In a posting on Oprah.com, Winfrey called the booking "the most anticipated music interview of the decade." (Post-breakdown Britney Spears has to come close, though, don’t you think?) Winfrey’s camp says the chat is Houston’s first interview in seven years. Diane Sawyer landed that one-on-one ("Crack is wack!") back in 2002.

The Hollywood Reporter claimed earlier this month that Houston would appear in a primetime special the last week of August and talk to Sawyer for "Good Morning America." ABC has not yet announced either appearance.

As the world waits for Whitney, here’s Funny or Die’s not very funny take on Houston’s 2002 Sawyer interview. Warning: Mature Puppet Humor included.
