As TheWrap first reported, Winfrey revealed in an interview on Ora.TV's "Larry King Now" that she almost had "a 'Pretty Woman' moment" when trying to purchase a handbag.

Unfortunately, she encountered the only woman in the world who doesn't know who Oprah Winfrey is and how much power she holds — the clerk refused to show Winfrey the bag, telling the beloved television personality that she couldn't afford it.

"We are fuming — this person acted terribly wrong. We are sorry this happened to @oprah!" the office tweeted on Thursday.

Daniela Baer, a spokeswoman for the tourism office, also told the Associated Press, "We are very sorry for what happened her."
