“Orphan Black” seems to be cloning viewers.

The Season 2 premiere of the BBC America series hit a series high Saturday, doubling its Season 1 average in the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers.

The 9 p.m. premiere grabbed 391,000 viewers in the demo, and 620,000 total viewers.

With two replays factored in, the “Orphan Black” season premiere accumulated 785,000 total viewers.

The series, which stars Tatiana Maslany as multiple clones, now ranks as BBC America’s second highest rated series in the demo, behind only “Doctor Who.”

On the social media front, the “Orphan Black” season premiere ranked as the top program on Twitter and Tumblr for the day, generating 43,000 tweets and 277,000 Tumblr posts on Saturday.
