Oscar De Le Hoya has taken a direct hit at President Trump.

The boxing legend is behind a new ad promoting a Cinco de Mayo weekend match between boxers of Mexican descent. In it, the two athletes crash through a concrete wall.

“The idea of a wall was a direct hit to Donald Trump,” De Le Hoya told the New York Times. “The comments that Trump has made had really impacted many people and have rubbed many people the wrong way.

“This is letting him know that not every Mexican is what he’s stated they are. Mexicans are hard workers.”

Trump has famously proposed building a giant wall along America’s southern border to keep out illegal Mexican immigrants. Back in 2015 when he announced his intentions to run for president, he said Mexico is sending criminals and rapists to the United States.

Saúl Álvarez and Julio César Chávez Jr. crash through a wall in the ad that airs on DirecTV and Dish Network.

De La Hoya, a Mexican-American, has also accused Trump of cheating at golf and mocked his infamous taco salad tweet from Cinco de Mayo 2016. Prior to the election, the boxing legend publicly said he would vote for a candidate who did not cheat at golf.
